After a simple "reunion dinner" at my uncle's place, I just handed home watching some tree hill drama. reunion dinner is supposed to be a held on the Chinese New Year's Eve. A bunch of family member would gather and have a big dinner according to the tradition. I haven't been doing this since my grandma passed away. We basically stopped visiting senior on the New Year. I guess it just doesn't mean as much right now. Growing older, I found it better to just go to work on these sort of holiday. That somehow makes you less lonely.
This morning at work, Alek has already gave us New Year gift, which is a box of Ferrero Rocher as well as the red envelope of course. I didn't expect we would be given that considering the how British the coming is. Don't get me wrong, I actually do like the company in general. The culture, the goal and etc.
